The Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union, offers a challenging and inspiring career as a Group A Gazetted Officer in the pay scale for Assistant Commandant .
- 1. Assistant Commandant General Duty
- Qualification : Bachelor’s degree with 60% Male marks in aggregate of a university recognised by the Central/ State Govt./UGC and minimum 60% in 12th Std of 10+2+3 scheme of education with Maths &
Physics as subjects
- 2. Assistant Commandant General Duty ( Pilot/Navigator)
- Qualification : B.Sc with Maths & Physics and 55% marks in aggregate and minimum 60% in 12th Std of 10+2+3 scheme of education.
- 3. Assistant Commandant (Commercial Pilot License) for Short Service Appointment
- Qualification : 12th class passed or equivalent with 60% marks and should possess current /valid Commercial Pilot license (CPL) on the date of selection
- 4. Assistant Commandant General Duty (Women) for Short Service Appointment
- Qualification : Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks in aggregate of a university recognised by the Central/ State Govt./UGC and minimum 60% in 12th Std of 10+2+3 scheme of education with Maths & Physics as subjects
- 5. Assistant Commandant Technical (Mechanical & Aeronautical)
- Qualification : Degree with 60 % marks in aggregate in Naval architecture / Mechanical/ Marine/Design/ Production /Aeronautical/ Auto motive / Mechtronics / Industrial and Production/ Metallurgy/Design / Aeronautical / Aerospace/ Control & Production and minimum 60 % in 12th Std of 10+2+3 scheme of education or Should have passed sections A and B of institute of engineer (India) examination in any of the discipline listed above with 55 % marks
Registration and Preliminary Selection will be carried out on the spot at following venues
